This page of the website is to let you know what to expect on your first visit.

Whichever clinic you choose to visit, you will be asked to fill out a medical questionnaire. This is just to confirm that you are suitable for treatment. (please see contra-indications in the main menu). You will then be taken through to one of our spacious & comfortable treatment rooms.

Our Surgical Electrologist will now take a first proper examination of the blemishes in question. She will be able to name your blemish(es) & give you an idea of how long they will take to either treat or remove and at what cost.

If the blemishes are on the body, we would recommend that you wear loose clothing over the area, try not to wear anything that could irritate the area, such as a wooly/fluffy jumper. Please be aware that depending on areas involved you may be asked to undress.

If the blemishes in question have to be removed (such as skin tags) then a numbing cream will be applied over the area. This will be covered and left for about 30-40 minutes. Please feed the parking meter well!

You are welcome to remain in the treatment room, return to reception, have a tea or coffee or read some magazines. Your appointment, your choice.

If the blemishes are to be treated (such as broken facial veins and capillaries) a numbing cream is not required and we can start treatment right away.
